CONCERTO FOR TWO TRUMPETS (A. Vivaldi) / Algemesí Symphony Band
Solo trumpets: Javier Higón Barberà and Òscar Albiach Bueno.
It is well known that Vivaldi composed music for all the popular instruments of his time, always demonstrating great confidence and knowledge in the technique of each one.
Published around 1950, virtually everything related to the exact date and circumstances in which Vivaldi composed it is unknown from the Concerto for Two Trumpets; apparently the only source for this concerto is a manuscript in the National Library of Turin, which was found in a collection of Vivaldi manuscripts.
The Banda Sinfónica de Algemesí performs "Concerto for two trumpets" by Antonio Vivaldi in the Santa Cecília Concert held on November 27, 2022 at the Municipal Theater of Algemesí.
