Darth Vader uses TIE Advanced VFX WIP- Kenobi Fanedit
This is a very crude WIP, so please treat it that way.
In general, I wanted Vader to walk down the ramp of his TIE fighter, which required some precise motion tracking. The whole scene is dark, the compression of the original is killing the details AND they added some subtle heat distortion in the background to make the things worse for tracking. Luckily, after three days of trial and error I managed to get it to work.
The easier way would be to just cut the walking part and put TIE fighter behind him, which is a cop out in my eyes haha
This is a playblast version straight out of 3D viewer. Rough roto around Vader is used to test the alignment. In the lower right corner you can see what the final render should look like.
