Checking out a local wildlife spot and testing out some filming techniques while I'm at it. Not too much rhyme or reason to this one, just a nice walk through the woods down by the river. I used 3 different "cameras". The Nikon Z7II, DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and the Google Pixel 7 Pro. The audio straight out of the Osmo was definitely the worst. It does have raw audio files, so I will have to utilize those next time and compare the results. The Z7II is overall the best quality, but the least versatile. The Osmo is the best all around, needing no gimbal for smooth footage even while walking. The Pixel is the ease of use winner while still providing surprising quality, for what it is. None of these give great audio results straight out of the box. Let me know what you think and thanks for checking in!
