Free Speech Matters But Only When It's ACTUALLY Exercised
Rights are NOT just for possessing or conserving, they are for EXERCISING. They only matter and can only be "conserved" if we ensure they persist in actual practice. They have to be used and wielded by the people, individually, otherwise they're just abstract concepts some stuffy people advocate for on the basis of tradition and nostalgia.
