Corel videostudio Pro X5 Mpeg-4 Not Loading Fix
This issue I came across while using Corel VideoStudio Pro X5. When you try to load a video that is in Mpeg-4 format it would not load which forces the program to crash. To fix this issue you:
Download the latest Quicktime Player - www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools - Folder Options - Click the View tab -Then uncheck the option that says Hide extensions for known file types. Click Apply then OK. Locate the Video Clip you wish to use. Select said video clip and right-click and select RENAME or Select the video clip and press the F2 key to Rename the video clip from mp4 to mov. Press enter, where you will be asked if you are sure you what to change the file extention. Select yes. Open Corel VideoStudio pro X5 and the click File - Insert Media to Timeline - Insert Video - Locate the video in which you changed the File extension from mp4 to mov and then the video clip will be opened and ready for use.
