Geraint has worked in the turf care industry for over 25 years, including work at the following locations:
-Working as a greenkeeper at 2 of the 18 hole championship golf courses at The Vale Resort & Spa. Geraint was later promoted to Assistant Head Greenkeeper and worked there for a total of 12 years.
-In 2006, Geraint became Head Groundsman at the Wales National Centre of Excellence, where £12 million had been invested in facilities. Geraint was responsible for the development and maintenance of 6 international rugby and football pitches.
-In 2012, Geraint was appointed Head Groundsman at the state-of-the-art facility in Newport called Dragon Park. This is the Wales National Football Development Centre, where Geraint was responsible for the maintenance of 2 international standard natural grass pitches.
-Geraint have maintained pitches used by The British Lions, Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, plus many others.
Working at these venues for such long periods of time have enabled Geraint to manage turf in all environmental conditions and for all levels of use.
