Koniec jednej fotopasce / End of one trail cam
V septembri 2024, po intenzívnych dažďoch kulminovala hladina Dunaja na takmer 10 metroch, čo malo vplyv aj na výšku hladiny vody v mŕtvych ramenách a priľahlých lužných lesoch. Stopy po záplavách sú na stromoch v podobe nánosov bahna viditeľné dodnes. Pravidelné záplavy boli kedysi nevyhnutnou súčasťou kolobehu života v lužných lesoch a zárukou jeho prosperity. Dnes sú bohužiaľ už skôr vzácnosťou a preto neľutujem ani fotopascu, ktorá tento rok padla záplavám za obeť. R.I.P. Bentech ☹
In September 2024, after intense rains, the Danube level peaked at almost 10 meters, which also affected the water level in the dead branches and adjacent floodplain forests. Traces of the floods are still visible on the trees in the form of mud deposits. Regular floods were once an essential part of the life cycle in floodplain forests and a guarantee of their prosperity. Unfortunately, today they are rather a rarity, and therefore I do not regret the trail cam that fell victim to the floods this year. R.I.P. Bentech ☹
