Wait
Not so often am I moved by a song, but this particular song called, "Wait," has always remained moving to me. There is a human connection exchanged between the singer and the listener, even if the exchange is not in person. My perspective on this piece reflects in the movement that I had created. The tone and structure of the song feels like it has no timely set up and the constant rise and fall of the music makes the general feeling of the song feel weightless.

Meaning: The man, Julian, represents the time of aging. The girl, Angelina, represents child's play and the escape from reality. In this dance, both of the dancers constantly are at odds with each other. The girl continues to daydream and forget about the constant societal idea of adult behaviour. But time comes in to enforce the structure of the surrounding world.
