Wong Kar Wai 4K Remaster Reaction & Review - Chungking Express, Happy Together & Fallen Angels
Sharing my reaction and thoughts on the new 4K restorations of Wong Kar Wai's Chungking Express (1994), Happy Together (1997), and Fallen Angels (1995), all of which I had the great opportunity of checking out in theaters in South Korea. I comment on the improved picture quality, altered scenes of music and color, as well as new aspect ratios. I'm also keeping in mind that the upcoming blu-rays will not be on 4K discs (for now), so there will be a slight downgrade from the theatrical presentations I witnessed.
