TRYING to find CAMP in a LOGGED FOREST
This hike turned out to be much more difficult than I had expected. I initially thought I would find a place to camp within a few hundred feet of my vehicle, but I was wrong. This part of the forest required mindfulness with every step as I was either on the side of a hill, walking on fallen timber, or in a hole.
Although I was not able to find a good spot to setup camp this visit, I am interested in going back. Mainly because I kept hearing what sounded like rocks being thrown beyond the tree line. When that day comes, hopefully I find a nice level spot to hang out longer.
