Gran Sasso d'Italia - Photographing the Sunset at the Peak of Corno Piccolo - Danesi Via Ferrata
After summiting Corno Grande Orientale this morning, we decided to hike the Danesi via ferrata in the late afternoon. The via ferrata is very short, but more exposed and steep than the Ricci via ferrata on Corno Grande. It's a short ride to the summit of Corno Piccolo, which faces west almost all the way—perfect for a sunset!
The rocks along the route make it a beautiful place to create beautiful landscape compositions.
