How To Use Twitter-For Beginners

In this video I m going to show you how to get started with Twitter. How ToGet followers, schedule content, and use affiliate links in your tweets to generate income. So stay tuned.
Start by going to twitter.com.Click on sign up.Enter your name. Choose a username.This is the @name you will go by (for example @Klear_Vue). And choose a password for your account.
Your 1st choice of username may be taken, so have some others in mind. If your name is taken, try this:Add "the", add "I am" or "we are", or add your industry.
Starting out your background will be very plain. You will probably want to change your Twitter cover and background to match your brand.
Twitrcovers (www. twitrcovers.com) has free covers and backgrounds.
You should select a picture to be your avatar that appears on all your tweets.
You would want that to be a picture of you or your logo.
Be sure to fill out your profile. So potential followers can know what you are about.
One advantage of Twitter is that it allows you to create a targeted follower list.
To find targeted followers just enter search terms related to your niche
Clicking on People gives you a list of people who's profile matches your search.
Just click Follow to follow anyone.
But how do you get people to follow you?
Well to start with, any user you follow will get a notification when they have new followers. Twitter rules allow you to follow up to 5,000 people.
After 5,000 the number of additional users you can follow is different for every user.
It is based on your ratio of followers to the number you are following.
What Should You Put In Your Tweets?
Your Tweets should be informative, funny or helpful. Include links to relevant pages
Don't use too many affiliate links.
Remember that you have to build a relationship with your followers.
Using Twitter effectively is time consuming.
But there are tools to make it easier.
Tools like SocialOomph let you schedule your tweets.
So What Should You Put In Your Tweets?
We will use groups of messages called clusters.
A cluster is a group of 5 messages sent 1 min apart.
Send out 3-4 clusters of 5 messages(1 min apart).
Put your affiliate links in message #5 of each cluster.
Remember not to use the affiliate links too much when you first start out.
Schedule messages to post at 6am, 12pm and after 8pm.
Now, to get those targeted followers we talked about we will use a tool called Twiends.

So How does twiends work?
You get credits for following people.
You can in turn, use those credits to get people to follow you.
These followers will be targeted because you find them using keywords relevant to your niche.
Earning credits for following others is what makes the service free.
If you dont want to do that, you can buy credits to promote your twitter account.
We will use Social Oomph to schedule our tweets for diferent times. This is important because Twitter users are all around the world in different time zones.
So messages need to go out at different times of the day.
Social Oomph is free but offers an upgraded paid version.
So the basic rules are:
1. Send clusters of tweets centered around a topic.
2. Post clusters 3X per dayMorning, Afternoon and Evening.
3. Used affiliate links sparingly. 4. Giving value is your main goal.
5. Allow time to build a following. It does not happen overnight. Given time you will be able to get sales from your affiliate links.
