Cyberpunk 2077 - Phantom Liberty (v2.12)
Night City & Dogtown - Cybwerware Capacity Shards - Locations both visual and on the city map on the shards that are set as fixed loot and a general guide to how the cyberware capacity shards that are set as random drops work and how many there are of them in total. It can be a bit confusing and it took me a while to grasp it. I tried my best to convey what I've found out about the shards set as random drops. Read below in the description, and the comment I've made.

As of patch 2.11 (game is atm 2.12) the max cap for cyberware capacity is set to 450.

Points you can get (this might be slightly off need more research):
201 from leveling to 60.
50 from the Edgerunner perk.
Up to 20 from the Renaissance Punk perk.
15 from the Engineer skill tree.
70 from the Chrome Compressor cyberware (PL cyberware).
54 from the random shards (base game random drops if all are collected).
13 or 14 (level dependent) from PL shards.
4 or 6 (level dependent) from the Psycho Killer quest shard.
Combined it will give you 430 cyberware capacity with Chrome Compressor or 360 without.
How high is the chance for shards to drop?
The chance for shard to drop starts with base chance and increases with every kill, at some point you get the shard.
Rarity Base chance Increase per kill
Uncommon 2% 0.4%
Rare 1% 0.2%
Epic 1% 0.2%
Legendary 0.6% 0.1%
