If you want to have a very minimalistic and eye-catching pop-up text effect on your videos, just watch my video today and I will show you how to do it with Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) tools.
1. You have to create a "basic title" (under subtitles), then adjust the fonts, size, colour and position (x,y)
2. Create keyframes "scale all": 1 at "100%", 2 at "115%", 3 at "100%' .
3. Add "Prism" effect to the title, add key frames for "amount" and "angle": 1 at "0" and "0 degree", 2 at "100" and "180 degree", 3 at "0" and "0 degree".
4. press "Option" and drag it upwards, adjust the positions of keyframes for "Prism" and "scale all" on the second layer.
5. at the middle keyframe, enlarge the scale from "115%" to "300%"
6. reduce the opacity to "23%" for the second basic title.
You can adjust the keyframe positions by right-clicking the titles and then "show all animation", drag the keyframes around and that's all!
