Manon Mistress Pas de Deux: The Royal Ballet | Marquee TV
Royal Ballet stars Ryoichi Hirano (Lescaut) and Itziar Mendizabal ( Lescaut's Mistress) show off their brilliant comedic timing in this humorous pas de deux.
Kenneth MacMillan’s passionate ballet tells the story of Manon’s competing desires for riches and true love.
The spectacular ensemble scenes create vivid, complex portraits of the distinct societies of Paris and New Orleans, but the stand-out scene in this powerful drama is the impassioned pas de deux between Manon and her true love, Des Grieux.
