As this song was written to become a universal message of hope we take a moment to commemorate over 20K learners in Soweto that marched on 16 June 1976 fighting against ethnocentrism.
Many lives were lost and the battle was won or at least we thought as we are still faced with horrifying social injustices such as femicide and xenophobia.
We hope this will be a reminder for all of us that we have still so much work to do as a society. Above all laws we should all apply to love one another and who knows, a change might come.
