Namakwa 4x4 Eco Trail - Episode 3
The third episode in a five-part series where we travel to the Northern Cape to do the Namakwa 4x4 Eco Trail. The trail offers both the challenge and the reward that makes it the ultimate trail for the outdoor enthusiasts and 4x4 driver. The challenge is the rugged Northern Cape's isolated semi-desert terrain, mountain tracks and testing dunes. The rewards are the driving thrills, the awesome arid scenery and isolated camping spots.
In this episode we travel from Die Groot Melkboom wild camping spot to the wild camping spot known as Ramansdrif.
We went in mid December of 2020 and did Part 1 of the trail, from the town of Pella to Vioolsdrif. We traveled in a convoy of two vehicles, Livingstone a 2021 Toyota Fortuner, and Livia a 110 Land Rover Defender.
