Irish Girl Guides' Global Awareness, Community and Teamwork (GACT) Project
Irish Girl Guides' Global Awareness, Community and Teamwork (GACT) Project funded by Irish Aid is ongoing, led by our Global Citizenship Education (GCE) Officer.
This includes 40+ GACT badges (Environmental Awareness, Disability Awareness, Cultural Diversity, Voting and Europe Badges and promotion of IGG’s SDG 3, 12,13 and 14 badges). Badges and activities link to various SDGS and SDG targets.
This project aims to strengthen the visibility of GCE and the SDGS within our overall Journey Programme and promotes sustainability across our organisation more broadly.
Allowing us to achieve: IGG’s Mission is ‘to enable girls and young women to develop to their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world’. Our Vision is ‘a future which is sustainable, diverse and equal where girls and young women are empowered to advocate and lead the way’.
