FSX: How to Fix Crashing and Fatal Errors! (UIAutomationCore.dll) - Read Description for Update
In this video, I will be showing you how to completely fix the FSX fatal error relating to UIAutomationCore.dll. This is a unique solution that isn't presented on other videos, and actually works!
FIRST: you need to check your eventvwr to see what dll is causing the crash. If it is unknown or d3d9.dll, it is most likely a missing component (DirectX 9), or a buggy addon (EnbSeries).
IF IT IS A UIAUTOMATIONCORE.DLL ERROR: UPDATE - You can actually do it yourself! Open Notepad (right click with admin privileges), type the word ignore, and save it as UIAutomationCore.dll into your FSX root directory! This bypasses the UIAutomationCore check and allows FSX to ignore it peacefully - without resulting in a crash.
