IFFM Tutorial: Model/Tog - Teaching a Model to Act w/Monna
A series to be continued in Tales.
As stated in the 1st vid models, unlike actors, do not like to be touched for obvious reasons.
While this was my 1st (any only shoot) with Monna, a Ukrainian, at this time she was on a US tour. For her own very good reasons we avoided discussion of the impending war.
Considering US exile, she reluctantly learned to act, first by reading intentions of the tog. (This could be posted in the CM as well for those tidbits of magick. Not to worry, I'll likely get to it but easily understood books on the scientific principles are body language and face reading.)
Understand a lot more crew members (at least) are usually on even screen tests. Models WILL turn you down at first, especially newbs, but simply perform professionally and, as in my case, tell them any callbacks will depend on their willingness to - describe the minimal physical contact you'll need. -
Some will not want to return. While that could be devastating for your average tog (DON'T unless you REALLY need the shot for a real reason!) or even pro tog (who wouldn't even ask but have it in a written contract), they've already failed my Treasure Hunt criteria anyway.
