DJI Phantom 2 1st Flight Test
Just got my DJI Phantom 2 with Zenmuse H3-2D couple days ago, installed Zenmuse was pretty easy compared to original Phantom. I do like the protective units which secured the damping bracket (I had an accident and the gimbal fell off from the bracket). Only a few steps my Phantom was ready to fly. I also downloaded Phantom 2 Assistant Software v1.08 from DJI website for upgraded firmware as well.
Flying Phantom 2 give me feel pretty much the same as my original Phanto. However the benefits of Phantom 2 is battery life which gave me enough flight time. The gimbal now are located more from the front which allowed me to get a nicer video compared to original Phantom (Landing gear sometimes was in the frame when pitched the gimbal). And, another benefits of Phantom2 now I can have a more space for tx unit no need to buy extend mount plate.
Overall I do like my Phantom 2 compared on what I spent on original Phantom ( Zenmuse H3-2D, PMU Unit ). I hope this review will give you some ideas if you are deciding to buy one.
