Mercedes 722.9 Valve Body & Conductor Plate Issues
The Mercedes 722.9XX NAG2 (7G-Tronic) rear wheel drive seven speed automatic was modified from the 722.6XX five speed transmission. Architecture is comparable as is rebuilding procedures. A significant departure however involves the valve body/conductor plate and the effort required to purchase and program the assembly. The TRP (theft relevant parts) process must be followed when dealing with Mercedes.
