I Forgot to Remember to Forget - Take #3 (29th October 2024)
Camcorder is the go from now on, I love this aesthetic lmao. This is the raw audio from the camcorder itself, I will mix and drop the proper recording on Bandcamp at some point and put it here.
This version is much better imo, I really like this starting motif, the timing wasn't perfect but this was a rushed job as I'm moving house and won't have time to do another take for a little bit. This video also serves as a farewell to this crib, one of the most incredible creative spaces I have ever had available to me, I'm very sad to see it go. But onwards and upwards regardless.
In terms of new gear, I got a Boss RC-5 Looper which has proven incredible already, volume shifts and stacking loops is now much easier, and I can visually see how far I am in the loop which is huge as I intend on having insanely long loops at some point for the most amount of variation. The other pedal that is new is my Digitech Freqout, this thing is nuts, it's meant to simulate feedback, but I just use it for crazy ambient swells and drones, I've just started learning how to implement this, so I'm keen to see where this takes me.
An EQ Pedal is next for sure, especially with the Freqout pedal I end up with so many harsh frequencies to control, so that'll help immensely. I'll also probably get a reverb pedal for the end of my chain just to add space to everything.
Pretty happy with this one, insanely keen for the next one, you guys are not even ready. Farewell to The Bus Depot 🫡, you have served me well.
