Desperate Search for Missing Infant Miya Tucker Rudd
In early June 2024, concerns for the welfare of eight-month-old Miya Tucker Rudd were raised when her family requested a welfare check after not seeing the infant for several months. Miya, born in October 2023, has three siblings who are currently in the custody of another family member. Her extended family had distanced themselves from the situation some time ago, having only met Miya twice since her birth.
Kentucky state child protection workers notified the Kentucky State Police as part of their search for Maya and her parents, 29-year-old Tesla Tucker and 30-year-old Cage Run. The family resided in Reynolds Station, Kentucky. Authorities aimed to locate Miya and remove her from her parents' custody due to rising concerns.
The parents were found at a Super 8 motel in Owensboro, Kentucky. However, Miya was not with them. Both Tesla and Cage refused to speak with authorities without legal representation and were generally uncooperative.
