Thread pass

Place the bobbin on the pin.

Continue turning the handwheel until the needle appears, and with a loop, lift the thread up from below.

Pull the loop with your fingers until the free end of the thread appears above the tooth plate.

Place both threads diagonally under the sewing foot to the back.

Filling the File

Lift the sewing foot and turn the handwheel until the needle reaches its highest position. Unscrew the handwheel isolator (center of the handwheel) by turning it towards you with your right hand, while holding the handwheel with your left.

Move the winder arm to the left and remove the bobbin completely. Hold the handwheel and press the isolator button.

Stitch Length

The numbers 1 through 4 represent the length of each stitch in millimeters. The higher the number, the longer the stitch. Shorter stitches are used for thin fabrics, and longer stitches for thicker fabrics. The MICRO area is used for satin.

I always sew with a 3 stitch and use a 1 stitch for zigzag.

Turn the dial so that the desired length is located below the symbol. To shorten the stitch, turn the dial to a lower number. To lengthen the stitch, turn the dial to a higher number. The middle button is for standard front stitching; for back stitching, press the button (for the back).

Tension Adjuster

The tension adjustment indicator shows the tension of the bobbin thread and allows you to adjust it correctly for any stitch, depending on the thread and fabric being used.

Presser Foot Pressure Regulator

The pressure adjustment dial regulates the pressure exerted by the presser foot on the fabric. Maintaining the correct pressure on the fabric is very important so that it can be transferred evenly by the feed dogs.

Lower the presser foot before adjusting the pressure;

To increase the pressure, turn the dial to a higher number (for thicker fabrics);
To decrease the pressure, turn the dial to a lower number (for thinner fabrics).
