How To Change Password On A Chromebook
Your Chromebook password is the same as your Google account. So in order to change your Chromebook password, you'll need to sign in and change your Google password.
1. Visit google.com and sign into your account
2. Once you are signed in, click your profile picture in the upper right hand corner
3. Click on "Manage your Google account"
4. On the left side select "Personal Info"
5. In the first portion labeled "Profile" click on "Password"
6. It will ask you to confirm your current password first
7. Enter your new password twice
8. This is your Google account password and will be applied to anywhere you use Google, such as YouTube and other Google services. It's NOT only for your Chromebook.
