For over 500 years, the Catholic Church tortured, murdered, and burned innocent people at the stake across Europe, including holy men of God who, under threat of death, spread the Good News, telling people about the Savior and salvation for every person.
These crimes, along with the fascist crimes of Hitler, must be condemned and serve as an example and a memorial, so that the Church will not tolerate similar treatment of people in the present and future.
The historical novel "The Spanish Brothers" is a story set in the sixteenth century. It is a story of Protestant martyrs, of those who, despite all obstacles, openly professed Jesus Christ in their lives.
