Keyboard shortcuts, changing pitch, audio levels and how to reduce background noise from your audio.
Common keyboard shortcuts are as follows.
Space bar "Pause/play"
Delete key "deletes"
Control + Z undo's previous edit/action
To change the pitch, highlight the section of audio you would like to change, click on effect, change pitch, this will change the pitch without changing the tempo. Adjust the pitch and preview click on preview. Once your happy with the change click "ok"
To Change the sound/audio levels
Highlight the section of audio you need to increase the volume.
Click on Effect, select the Amplify and then adjust the settings of the effect.
Click Preview to hear the changes, and then click Ok to apply the changes.
To reduce noise in your audio,
Find a section of audio that should be silent. I like to leave about 5 seconds of audio of no talking at the beginning of my recordings
Highlight this section of audio. Click on effect , Noise reduction, click on get noise profile, now highlight the rest of the audio you want to fix click effect, noise reduction now leave the setting as is and select okay
