This video continues from the "SQL Server Database Snapshot Technology Scenario - POC Lesson 3" video and is separated because it really does not talk about Database Snapshot, but puts closure on what we were trying to accomplish by using the database snapshot. That was to create a considerably smaller database based on the POCTemplage_DWLarge database. The problem that is attacked here is that we saved a temporary backup of the shrunk down version of the database, the back-up's database and file names in its metadata were still pointing to and named after the Large database. This conflict could definately cause problems if you wanted to use them bothe at the same time, as well as confusion when looking at the file names on disk, etc.
