How to fix shared folder access errors in Windows 11
In this video, I show the definitive step-by-step process to resolve the error accessing shared folders on the Windows 11 network (works on versions 24H2 and the new 25H2). The procedure must be done BOTH on the PC sharing the folder and on the PC that will access it.
To make it easier, I created an application that automates network fixes and solves the problem more thoroughly.
🛠️ ABOUT THE TOOL:
The application executes advanced commands in CMD to restore network permissions. Because it requires Administrator privileges, your antivirus may block it by mistake (false positive). Temporarily disable protection only during use and don't forget to use the app's own "Backup" function before starting.
⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNINGS BEFORE USING:
1️⃣ Backup: The app has a backup function. Do this first to ensure you can revert any changes.
2️⃣ Antivirus: Because the app executes network commands in CMD and requests Administrator permission, Windows Defender or your antivirus may give a "false positive." You may need to temporarily pause your antivirus to run the fix.
