ADA and Google Sites
The Americans with Disabilities Act (https://www.ada.gov/ada_intro.htm) was passed by Congress in 1990. Title II and III regulations were published in 1991 and subsequent additions/revisions have occurred in 2010 and 2016. Title III of the law helps to ensure that web content is accessible by all users. If you are interested in reading more about the Americans with Disabilities Act, then please read the Introduction to the ADA from the ada.gov site (https://www.ada.gov/ada_intro.htm). The law is quite dense, but the Introduction allows a reader to different aspects of the law. Title III covers web accessibility for non-profit organizations.

The guidelines outlined in ADA are localized to the United States of America. However, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has developed the The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) developed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/) which provides another comprehensive look at the development of accessible web content.
