Organizers will once again host the northeast lab in the film friendly Capital City of New York September 22nd - 23rd at The Linda and visit the State Film Archives rare collection of movie scripts. Schenectady’s Film Commission will host the film lab September 24-25th.
CCCE contributes to creating an Upstate film industry empowering emerging Northeast filmmakers to complete and present their films by leveraging world-class industry expertise through a lab process.
Governor Cuomo’s new initiative to increase film production across Upstate New York received a boost in 2015 offering producers additional tax incentives for filming and utilizing post-production services (like scoring a film) in Upstate New York.
Past year’s lab and screenings drew filmmakers from as far away as Moscow and Montreal, attracted leading industry experts from Hollywood veterans to NYC casting directors and international producers.
