Waco Surf - General Info
Waco Surf has one of the best public wave selections in the U.S. – everything from cruisey beginner waves to wedgy barrels, air sections, and more – all powered by Perfect Swell technology.
We have a range of on-site accommodations, including a hotel, cabins, and private housing. There are 11 standard rooms and two surf-facing suites in the hotel, located right at the beach; 7 lakefront cabins, with accommodation for 2-to-14 guests; plus a handful of private houses, ideal for larger groups or anyone who wants more privacy. These tend to sell out months in advance, so be sure to plan ahead.
We also offer photography and videography services for your surf sessions. Public sessions are generally always photographed and photos are uploaded to WacoSurf.com, where you can purchase and download. Private photography and videography can also be booked with our on-site photographer.
Beyond the surf lagoon, we’ve got the Wetlands Waterpark, featuring four extreme wedge water slides that will send you soaring, as well as the longest lazy river in the United States – or so we hear – that wraps around the entire surf lagoon. We also have three restaurants and four bars on site for all your food and beverage needs. Just make sure you’ve got your ID with you if you’re looking for a tasty alcoholic beverage. Free Wifi is also available to our guests so you can take that Zoom call in between sessions.
During the Summer months, live music is on tap on the beach every Sunday for our “Surfside Sessions”. These feature a range of bands, both local and international. No shoes, no shirt, no problem.
