The Callisto Protocol - Final Boss Fight (Maximum Security Difficulty)
For the Final Boss on Max Security difficulty it's recommended to use the Assault Rifle. Craft an entire inventory full of Assault Rifle ammo if you can. First you fight Captain Ferris. Dodge all his attacks, shoot or melee after he finishes a combo (if using melee be sure to not use it while he starts a combo because he'll block it and damage you). When fighting the big monster form at the end, you must shoot the protective growth around the face, once this is removed shoot the face to deal damage. The boss will recharge the protective growth between phases, this also spawns 2 pairs of 2 explosive crawling enemies. Walk in circles around the area and kill these explosive enemies first before you continue to focus your fire on the boss. You can also use GRP to pick up those explosive enemies and throw them at the boss.
Alternatively, the Riot Shotgun also works quite well here but the Assault Rifle kills the boss a bit faster.
