🖌️ Let’s practice loose watercolor and ink techniques!

🌹 In this live session I’ll show you how to loosen up, start with simple watercolor blobs and refine the shapes with ink.

I'll use the following materials:

watercolor paper

watercolors in Opera pink,

Papaya (indian yellow),

Kupukupu (lime green),

Night dive (teal mixed with prussian blue)

Vanilla (buff titanium)

Monk seal (gray ocher)

🖋️ Pentel Pocket real brushpen in gray. Alternatively use a fineliner, brushpen or dip pen & calligraphy ink. Any dark colored ink will do.

a size 6 round brush for the watercolor part

Hair dryer to dry layers in between steps

🖊️ You can also try this technique with a dip pen or fineliner for different results. Test out different ink colors for different effects, black, gray or sepia will make your illustration look different!
