Happy rave (explaining a few things) [animated]
Let's just set our ordinary issues aside for a moment. That was basically what I was thinking about when I first had the idea to make this video. I still work almost everytime, but in the last two months, I managed to save me this precious time to create this first "real" animation, and the result is good. To me. At least, it helped me to get through some tough ordeals irl. It was my little weekly catharsis, if you want (I mostly animate on weekends).
The template of the video is extremely common if you ever watched any of the "happy rave" videos which have flourished on Youtube in the last year in the wake of Scotch's video. I wanted to create my own take on this subject, but please, not focusing on drugs. So I chose work, it reflects waaaay better my own experience of what you smart people would call "geworfenheit".
This video is also for me the first time I talk to you almost directly. Finally! since you are almost 16 000 people to follow me now. It was for me the opportunity to share my love for a few things: Paris, economics and economic litterature, Youtube (of course), breakcore and happy hardcore, and a few other things you will recognize if you scrutinize some parts of the video.
It was also a little "what has been going on" video, I think that it had become necessary since I have not published anything in the last... what? 6 months? Anyway, little credits:
