마이앤트메리(My Aunt Mary)
대중적이면서도 밀도 높은 완성도로 밴드 음악의 다양한 색깔을 제시한 인디 1세대. ‘그저 좋은 팝’을 들려주겠다는 목표로 ‘골든 글러브’, ‘공항 가는 길’ 등 한국 인디 음악 역사에 오래 전해질 명곡을 남겼다. 2008년 발표한 5집을 마지막으로 밴드 활동에 휴식기를 가졌던 이들이 오랜만에 다시 대중 앞에 섰다. EP 「Right NOW」(2023)는 지금의 감성을 담아낸 밴드의 자화상 같은 음악. 여전히 ‘Just Pop’은 유효하다. 이번 무대에서는 한현창(기타), 임주연(건반)이 함께했다.
My Aunt Mary is a first-generation indie band that suggests band music's various colors with a popular yet dense perfection. With the goal of delivering ‘just good pop’, He left behind masterpieces that will long go down in the history of Korean indie music, such as ‘Golden Glove’ and ‘Way to the Airport’. Those who took a break from their band activities last with their 5th album released in 2008, stood in front of the public again after a long time. The EP 「Right NOW」(2023) is music like a self-portrait of a band that captures the sensitivities of the present. ‘Just Pop’ is still valid. Han Hyunchang (guitar) and Lim Juyeon (keyboard) were together on this stage.
