This box took me quite some time to make, but now it's finished and its looking pretty awesome if you ask me! The mechanism of this box is all attached to the sides of the box, because all the other parts can move. every side has 4 moving sliders. to open the box it takes 40 (or 39 if you call taking the lid of 1 move) moves. the box has also 6 moves witch you shouldn't do. If you touch one of the wrong sliders you won't be able to open the box.
the next two boxes witch I'm going to make are one made op Plexiglas, so you can see the entire mechanism and a box with 9 little squares on each side of the box. to open the box you will have to push specific squares in a specific order. the idea of this box is from Corey Mckernan "ude, these are awesome, this is the best craftmanship/ engineering ive seen in wood working, or basically a lot of things.. i have an idea for one.. Make one where it is a cube (of course) however on each face there are 9 small squares, the squares have the ability to be pressed in so the only way to open the box is to push them in the correct way (thats the mechanism that you think of cos i cant) hope this is something you can do, i would buy it from you for sure.."
