(All this took place after Tanjiro met the hashiras)
(Mikazuki is Giyuu's demon name)
โข Muzan wanted a demon Hashira
โข Sent Douma to spy on the hashiras
โข Choose to turn Giyuu into a demon as Giyuu seemed like he has the least mental strength
โข Muzan set a trap and lured Giyuu to him
โข Forcefully turned Giyuu a demon after mentally destroying Giyuu
โข Demon Giyuu couldn't remember anything as a human
โขMuzan fed demon Giyuu human flesh and brought him back to the infinity castle
โขMuzan told Demon Giyuu that as a human, he was hated and bullied by the other demon slayer and was luckily saved by Muzan at the brink of death.
โขDemon Giyuu briefly remember the feeling of being hated and therefore chose to believe Muzan and hated the demon slayer corp.
โข Muzan told the uppermoons to take care of Demon Giyuu
โข Giyuu surprisingly get along well with the uppermoons and discovered his own blood demon art in short period of time.
โข Muzan found Giyuu's blood demon art useful and changed his plan. Instead of sending Demon Giyuu to fight the Hashiras. He ordered Giyuu to be a spy and gave Giyuu a demon name, Mikazuki. So that Mikazuki wouldn't mess up his identity as a spy from Muzan.
โข From what Douma remember when he spied on the hashiras. Mikazuki went back to the demom slayer corp as the water Hashira, Tomioka Giyuu. (Aka his original self)
โข Mikazuki regularly updated Muzan on what's going on in the demon slayer corp. And soon received a new task to turn another Hashira into a demon. Whether by force or not.
โข Back at the Demon Slayer corp. With how Shinobu kept telling Giyuu how he is disliked and being bad mouthed by Obanai and Sanemi. Mikazuki trusted what Muzan said even more.
โข Seeing how strong Sanemi is. Mikazuki though that he would make a good addition to Muzan's demons. (And because his instinct told him he want Sanemi to be his partner but that's for later)

DEMON NAME: Mikazuki
โข Meaning new moon or crescent moon
โข Mikazuki is not in the twelve kizuki. He didn't want to fight anyone for a rank.
โข Muzan gave demon Giyuu this name when he saw the huge potential in him. Despite not having a rank, Muzan treats Mikazuki as an uppermoon.
โข Mikazuki couldn't remember his past as a human but he didn't forget. It's still somewhere in the back of his mind.

Mikazuki's ability came from a special type of liquid that is created by his body through taking in blood from Muzan and devouring humans. So far, he has discovered 3 abilities:
โข Ocean void
This ability is similar as the swamp demon's. It allows Mikazuki to create a portal beneath himself using the special liquid. In the portal is a empty space where he can hide himself or other things. No matter humans, demons or any objects.
Mikazuki has to check in that portal once in a while or the portal will disappear and expose whatever is inside.
Limitations:
The space is not really big. It's the size of three Gyomeis.
Only one postal can be made and used. So Mikazuki has to make just sure to clear the portal and collect it back before using it at other places and other purposes.
โข Water mask
This blood demon art can be one person at one time. This ability allows Mikazuki to change his own look and stay in the sun for a short period of time by covering himself with the liquid like substance he created. He willl be covered by a thin mask that no one can see through. (Though he can clearly see what's outside.) He can change the colour of the mask and make himself look like a human. The thin mask also temporarily reduce the damage of sunlight on him. Mikazuki uses this ability to turn himself into Tomioka Giyuu.
Limitations:
After about 16 hours the liquid mask evaporates. Leaving Mikazuki exposed.
The mask doesn't block sunlight. It just reduces the damage so Mikazuki still has to stay in the shades.
People can tell that there's a mask if they touch it. (It's kind of like liquid afterall) So Mikazuki avoids all sorts of physical touch at the demon slayer corp.
โขBasically manipulating the liquid he create
Turn it in a sword or any weapon. As long as he is holding it the object is solid. (The object turns back to liquid after 5 minutes if not being held)
The size of the object depends on how much blood ne consumed from devouring humans.
๐๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ:
โขBlue horn: it shows how many percentage of the liquid Mikazuki can still use.
โขRed ribbon and the shredded pieces of fabric by his side: He doesn't remember what it is but it seems important.
โขLong wave like hair: he tried cutting it. It grows back some how though it shrinks back into a messy ponytail when he is in the role of Tomioka Giyuu.
โขLong thin tail: Looks weak but is able to support his own weight and help him hang on trees.
