My wife dropped her phone and the screen is cracked and the touch part doesn't work.
I sent it to Google so they could repair it ($250). Since the price to get the battery replaced was $33 more i decided to ask for it too.
Google got my phone and they said that on top of the battery and the screen, there were software issues and that the USBC connector didn't work and that the only option was to get a refurbished phone for $589.
I told the agent in the chat that it wasn't true, and since i didn't want to pay for a refurbished they sent it back to me.
I conneted a mouse via the USBC connector in they hone, paired the phone with a Bluetooth mouse, used the internet to prove that there's no software issue.
I was also able to charge it, so the connector is fine.
