If gotten this question a few times and recently got a bit of a poke about the why does every single brand of powermeter that's installed on the right crankset of the shimano dura-ace r9100 and r8000 series read wrong. Compared against every pedal and trainer and that one wheel the total power is low and it's tracable to the right crankset by many reviewers. Reviewers who haven't really published much besides previews and results that don't align.

I use my over a decade of Finite element experience to simulate the cranksets and my knowledge of designing several powermeter products in the marketplace (today).

If you want to know more background GPlama (Shane Miller) has lots of video reviews on the new Shimano cranksets with various brands of Powermeters on them. Check him out at    / gplama   or maybe his new site www.gplama.com
