How to integrate WordPress and Google Sheets with two-way syncing (2025)
I built a two-way sync between WordPress and Google Sheets using Whalesync.
This video demonstrates the technical implementation of a bidirectional data synchronization system between WordPress and Google Sheets using Whalesync. The setup creates a real-time data pipeline that allows for the management of WordPress posts, pages, and other data types directly from a Google Sheet.
The architecture addresses the operational inefficiency of managing all content exclusively through the WordPress admin interface. Instead of requiring a login to the WordPress backend for every content update, this integration establishes a streamlined workflow where Google Sheets functions as a powerful content management front-end. Changes made in the spreadsheet are automatically pushed to WordPress, and updates made in WordPress are reflected back in the spreadsheet.
