You Matter
There’s no greater joy than making students feel special. I was blessed to present at Imagine South Lake Charter school in Claremont, Florida.
Every week I present our “Choices” program in front of thousands of students and realize we do have challenges, but I think there has been so much unwarranted negativity towards our next generation. We hear so much doom & gloom. When we see negative news day after day it can bring you down and become depressing. But I also see the other side of the human spirit, students that have empathy and compassion for each other. They are world changers, future leaders, brilliant minds that have hope for a better future. Students that have bounced back and overcome adversity. They have beautiful hearts that help others. They are the driving force to make our world a better place.
I will replace negative thoughts with hopeful thoughts, I will love those and be patient with others. I will forgive those who hurt me including myself. I will make a conscious effort to make people feel special. Today I will choose to be happy!
