Mayakovsky Street is located in the Leninsky District of Minsk, connecting the city center with the southern part (Loshitsa microdistrict, worsted mill area). Named after the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky, who visited Minsk many times.
Length - about 4100 meters.
The street is located on the site of an old trade route. In the 16th-17th centuries it was called Loshitsa Road, later it was known as the Igumensky Tract, since 1923 - Chervensky Tract. It passed through the historical suburb of Serebryanka (the modern microdistrict of the same name is located to the southeast).
