Dexter's Lab FINALLY on DVD Completely! - Pencil Test
After how many years, Cartoon Network's greatest invention, "Dexter's Laboratory", FINALLY came to DVD in its entirety (barring a couple of banned episodes) in Region 1 this week! To celebrate, Genndy Tartakovsky on Instagram called all animators to follow a prompt where they have to animate a run cycle for both Dexter and Dee Dee. I did my entry as a quick pencil test this afternoon using Krita and Fable.
Of the two siblings, Dexter's deceptively simple was a little tricky to animate running due to his short boots, while Dee Dee allowed me to feel more freeform thanks to her longer legs and being a ditzier character.
