Ember (Lyric Video)
This is the third of three projects I made during a three-week-long summer intensive course at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. For this project, I was tasked with notating a piece of music for a pianist and a soprano. This is the first time I have notated a score, and having someone else perform it was a great experience. Special thanks to Jodi Burns (the soprano) and Mr. Louchard (the pianist and one of my instructors) for performing my composition. I also want to extend this special thanks to Dr. Rothkopf, who recorded this song and is my other instructor, and UNCSA for allowing me to participate in the Summer Composition/Music Technology Intensive course. Now, thanks to this course and everyone involved, I get to do what I love to do, but better.
