Whose idea was it to send them to "spy" out the land of promise? We will explore these questions from different angles, enriching our understanding of the narrative.
Commonly known facts include that ten spies brought back a negative report, while Joshua and Caleb brought back a positive one. The Israelites' decision to heed the negative report led to their forty years of wandering in the wilderness. However, there's more to this story than meets the eye.
