How to Install STI Brembo Brakes on the 05-09 Legacy/Outback
If you plan to go fast, you need to be able to STOP.
Put this together for the BP Chassis people on needed components to swap from the lack luster oem brakes to STI Brembos.
most of my parts were sourced from fastwrx.com, with the exception of the calipers themselves which I purchased off EBAY needing rebuilds. I put a lot of time sandblasting and powdercoating them the way I wanted before rebuilding them, which required using rebuild kits and o-rings (also purchased from fastwrx.com) and fixing a few threads on the fronts.
For this swap I used DBA 4000 front rotors, KNS/DBA 4000 rear rotors, Hawk HPS Pads, and the KNS adapter brackets. After swapping, the system was power bled using a Motive Power Bleeder using Motul RBF600 Brake fluid.
