Wet silver deposition on glass and PMMA surfaces - Overview
First tests for wet silver coating on PMMA and glass optical fiber.

The first experiment we had a fast precipitation and a non-uniform silver layer on that glass that could be easily cleaned. Almost nothing was deposited on the optical fibers. During the experiment we heated the solution at around 50C. We also introduced an intermediary step of filtration after dissolution with ammonium.
The second experiment was made at room temperature. No filtration step. Precipitation was slower than during the first experiment but still too fast for what we need. A solid layer of silver was deposited on the glass, but only junk on our fibers.
