Cloud Carib was put to the test during Hurricane Dorian, which was the worst storm in the recent history for The Bahamas. The monster category 5 storm battered The Bahamas for days impacting one of their customers, the Government of The Bahamas - who the company was able to help maintain 100% up-time and no unplanned outage even with a temporary controlled shutdown.
Services for governments are typically mission-critical so everything is designed to have standards for redundancy and for uptime. This means, if one facility is impacted, the rest of the facility will be able to carry over the load for all of the applications that are designed – called active-active highly available applications and load balancing.
